Joel R. Primack is one of the world?s leading cosmologists and an originator of the theory of cold dark matter, now accepted as the standard theory of the structure and evolution of the universe. With Nancy Ellen Abrams, he has written The View from the Center of the Universe, a work that presents new ways of understanding the universe without math or jargon. Their work helps non-scientists understand how humans fit into the emerging scientific understanding of the cosmos. Downstairs at Town Hall, enter on Seneca Street.
