Washington, DC

The theme for the opening night is ?Laptops are for Lovers,? a play on the fact that all three bands use laptops on stage. 302 Acid have played locally for a few years, their audiovisual display winning the hearts of many a dancing DCer. The Fatales are an electronic-pop outfit that have made a name for themselves, playing up and down the East coast. Formerly of DC, The Fatales now call New York City their home, and have played CMJ?s annual conference several times. Jakuta and Carl had their start at the University of Maryland, but have taken their show on the road quite a bit of late. The duo (Carl is a laptop) have a legendary live show that is not to be missed

Tickets will be available at the door for $7. Doors open at 8pm, and Jakuta and Carl open the night up at 9:15pm. This is a 21+ show. Press passes are available for this event.
