Yo La Tengo and others to play John Kerry benefit show August 12, 2004

It's a giant John Kerry fundraising event that I am helping to organize at Spirit night club in Chelsea on THURSDAY, AUG 12.

This is a one-of-a-kind event with rock, comedy and political speakers, where a few thousand New Yorkers will come together to do their part to send George W. Bush back to Crawford, TX this fall.

The event is called The End of An Error and will be headlined by the estimable indie rock heroes YO LA TENGO.

The End of An Error is co-chaired by Chris Heinz and also features appearances and performances by Eric Bogosian, Rachel Dratch and Friends (SNL), Ted Allen & Kyan Douglas(Queer Eye), Jonathan Lethem, John Wesley Harding and more. We have also invited Moby, Al Franken, Hillary Clinton and others.

All proceeds from this event go to the DNC's John Kerry for President fund, Kerry Victory 2004.
