Cycling Through Upcoming Patterns

With the summer heat rising, it seems the Upcoming community has been grabbing their bikes for some breezy, recumbent rides through the neighborhood.

But where the English love the activism of Critical Mass, Americans have been promoting Upcoming events around either scenic century rides or roving parties like the Tour de Fat in San Francisco and the Northwest Film Forum Bike-In in Seattle. And in Canada, they're mixing bikes with their cabaret!

With the Hotter'N Hell Hundred on the steamy border of Texas and Oklahoma next month, maybe we should trade in our Burning Man tickets for a different kind of ride. What do you think? Any dates with your bike this summer?
